SACKED WORKERS OF ENL AND DANGOTE DEMAND FOR UNPAID ENTITLEMENTS

The National Industrial Court of Nigeria (NICN), Ikoyi Lagos has set aside Thursday February 20, 2020 for a day of judgement for the dock workers; and December 4/5 (Weds/Thurs), 2019 for the second phase of Trial/Hearing of witnessed of Dangote Plc, concerning the sacked 800 Dangote Truck Officers. Apparently, for a lot of dock workers who were in court, hearing the set day of judgement, was a way forward. 

DOCK WORKERS GATHERED TO PLAN AHEAD OF 28 NOVEMBER

Yesterday (2/11/2019) the resilience dock workers, held their first meeting of the month after the last adjourned date (24/10/201), as was reportedly informed that Justice Gwando weren't on sit because of an undisclosed reasons. 

"OPERATION POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION" IS TO CRUSH DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS

The Campaigner - a subsidiary of LIFEINSLUM - urges the Nigerian masses and the poor, to oppose the recent plan of the Buhari led administration alongside the Buratai led Military, who plan to kick off Operation Positive Identification (OPI). The consequential effect of this bill, if it's become a law, will be a way of attacking the democratic rights of people, who will be at the receiving end to suffer more from this martial act.

ERC KICKS OFF THE 14 EDITION OF THE FREE COACHING LESSON

On Monday 29 July, 2019; the Education Rights Campaign - Ajegunle - kicked off the 14th Edition of the Free Coaching Lesson at Nawair U Deen Primary School, situated in the community. So far, Subject like Mathematics, English Language, Civic Education, Biology, Further Mathematics, Physics etc are been treated.

Great people of Ajegunle! I greet you all with warm heart, and in the spirit of aspiring for a better community and Nigeria at large. I need to draw our attention to something important I think must be address with urgent mobilizations.  It is time that we should begin to organize ourselves and say enough is enough of this continue form of exploitation. The Private Sectors Participators known as PSP, plan to kick off an increment of collection of PSP levy, beginning from August/September, 2019. 

NOT UNTIL VICTORY IS ATTAIN, DOCK WORKERS MUST FIGHT ON

It is like a political victory for hundreds of dock workers present in the  National Industrial Court of Nigeria on Thursday 20/6/2019 for the "Trial". It is like an end to the three years deadlock Court appearances and the long suffering toil under the whip of ENL Consortium. While today is the Trial Day for the Industrial court, to kick off the hearing between representative capacity of 584 (out of the 688 retrenched) registered dock workers filed with NICN, and ENL Consortium. Many of the workers were already in the court premises around 7:45am to display their banners and chant solidarity songs.
