TIME TO BOYCOTT PAYING CRAZY BILL!

It was a sunny afternoon on Thursday 28 December, 2017. Some group of activists, socialists,  friends in Ajegunle community sat at a pedestrian in front of a shop that didn't open for the day. They were busy drinking some ice bottles of beer being it was a festive week for religious people. They sat discussing issues that revolved around politics and the three years of the Buhari administration.

UNILAG: Protest successfully forces Release of 13 Unlawfully Detained Students' protesters

In the very hour of 8:00 am on Thursday 6 April, 2017 over one hundred students from different tertiary institutions led by SAVE UNILAG COALITION staged a united protest at the Special Offenses Mobile Court inside Lagos State Task Force Building located at Bolade, Oshodi, Lagos state. The mobile court is a special creation of the Lagos State government – a government bent on literarily whipping to death poor working class families with draconian anti-policies. The April 6 protest was to demand the release of Adeyeye Femi and 12 other students' protesters who were brought before the court on that day for continuation of trial on false charges.

About four months ago, this captured was taken on the very day of this celebration. It was captured to unveil the fact that not all celebrations will make you smile and sympathize with. Some will make you pity the horrible odd and pit kind celebration people were placed of low-income background has to go through in order to be in the page of celebrating May 27. Nobody in his/her right senses will want to patronize celebrating in a very odd condition especially when May 27 was keyed to many children. Why it is inevitable for a lot of people not to avoid this even when the pocket is dry. The pressure of marking this celebration for children can’t be neglected.
