THE ODD OF THAT MAY

About four months ago, this captured was taken on the very day of this celebration. It was captured to unveil the fact that not all celebrations will make you smile and sympathize with. Some will make you pity the horrible odd and pit kind celebration people were placed of low-income background has to go through in order to be in the page of celebrating May 27.
Nobody in his/her right senses will want to patronize celebrating in a very odd condition especially when May 27 was keyed to many children. Why it is inevitable for a lot of people not to avoid this even when the pocket is dry. The pressure of marking this celebration for children can’t be neglected.
A lot of people from this part of the world have to fit-in in the chariot of making their children happy in the unexpected imagination. They have to do it with corner believe psychologically that their children needed to be happy, no matter the circumstance attached to it, which is indispensable in human life naturally.
Not that it is the whole wish of parents wanting to make their children happy from a poor working background, will encourage seeing their children’s journey in a van for a place of dancing and music.  But because choice is always conditioned with what revolves around people’s experience of life. They have to eat pain and say it is normal to go along with.
Originally, it is a church in the community that was organizing this exercise for children of church worshippers. Since it was for the church and parents, eyewitnesses were made to believe the pastor was in support of the children’s happiness; and decided to donate a van even an animal won’t travel in in a mile journey.
To many of the people attending the church (Lord Chosen Charismatic Renewal situated in the community) who doesn’t understand the nature of this offer thinks their pastors have done great thing to make the children happy. The truth behind this celebration which is usual in most cases is that, the people attending the church have to pay before that day for their children’s happiness.
However, what they got is quite different. In fact, when the children were instructed to enter inside the van, the mothers standing beside and in different spots in the scene were not very happy, even though they can’t express in words but in face they do. A woman whose children were amongst at distance from other mothers grumbled over what was going on.
She felt that how would the children of about 200 in numbers be able to manage inside a van that is like a match box, without a window for ventilation to cool body evaporating. She was depressed of what the church offered for the children’s celebration after the money they struggled to pay.
She could have raised alarm and grumbled among other mothers present. But because of fear of speaking against this, she had to bit her lips in silence without expressing bitterly the way she felt it facially.
Many of the mothers were like statue not saying anything in front of other junior pastors, who presides the affairs that sunup afternoon. Saying anything contrary to what was going on that day will amount to speaking against the pastor offered the church say they gave to the children to make them happy.
This was reflected in the body language of the mothers. As witness to this, it was a terrible thing to imagine seeing children of poor working families’ journey with no window van to recreational center for Children’s Day celebration. It raises a question of saying everything about life is class in society.
Even when the church assumes itself to render charitable offer to make up the celebration, the picture of that particular day confirmed the meaning of why life is class. The pastor’s children were never in the midst of these children hustling for space inside the van, possibly, they will move in for a better place of hilarious by classic means compare to this one.
During this sunup hour when the road was busy with commuters plying it, while mothers watched how their children happily want to congest their selves into the van. People passing by were not very happy about what they saw. They felt that the church organizing this outing for these children hasn’t done well.
In fact, how will they allow children travel in a van with no window? From the people around who stood talking out such ugly scene, lashed more blame on the church that they have what it takes to provide a better bus for this outing. From those bitterly talking, the expressions over this were that it is very abnormal and improper which before reaching where the children were going, some would have fainted. Then, it will become another case for their parents.
This event was two days before the presidential inauguration of the government of APC that people were expecting to see the promise of change have effect in their lives. However, this picture unveils the ugly nature and experience of working class families who have to go through hell to make their children happy. Some will say it is the fault of those mothers standing and watching their beloved children converge like pets inside the van.
But in between the perspective of life and this story line; it demonstrates that if government should have put things in order and affordable for people of low income in the society, no family will want to risk their children’s life in such a van. Instead, they will go for the best provided by the government that is awaiting better policies to improve the quality of life.
A qualitative recreational center answer this crisis witnessed on the day of May 27, a day this occurrence took place. Providing a center of such quality where working class parents can happily take their children to, will help write off any terrible scene like this.
Everything about what makes up life still falls back to government attending the need of rank and file poor families and children in the neighborhood. Being government has failed to identify with major responsibilities about the meaning of life; the issue of choice as the story of May 27 unveils is not a contention any more.
Because, if government regularly use public resources at the disposal of turning things around than letting life wear rag; families experiencing social and economic hardship won’t begin to swim in lagoon when there is clean pool. This is better reason why it is inevitable for free affordable recreational center to be built in order to avoid such to have a reoccurrence.
