GET ORGANIZED AND REJECT THE NEW INCREMENT!

Great people of Ajegunle! I greet you all with warm heart, and in the spirit of aspiring for a better community and Nigeria at large. I need to draw our attention to something important I think must be address with urgent mobilizations.

It is time that we should begin to organize ourselves and say enough is enough of this continue form of exploitation. The Private Sectors Participators known as PSP, plan to kick off an increment of collection of PSP levy, beginning from August/September, 2019.

The levy will come in this rate: a room from N150 to  N200. Flats from N500 to N750 while shops remain the same as N200. According to the letter I saw in there office today (4/7/2019), they have held a meeting with Fatai Ajidagba and resolve to increase the levy,  which is highly criminal.

The same will also take place in Ayoola camp where this anti-poor policies, will give rise to further exhortion on the masses. This increment if finally achieved, will further add to the burden of the people. We should not stand and look, however, we should get organized to resist this monstrosity.

We must oppose it and begin to initiate public meetings in our respective areas with the slogan of WE WON'T PAY THE INCREMENT,  IT IS EXPLOITATIVE AND PROFIT DRIVEN! TOTAL REVERSAL OF THE HIKE! NO TO PSP AND FAILED PPP! RENATIONALISATION OF PUBLIC WASTAGE MANAGEMENT SECTOR UNDER WORKERS CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT!

We should also demand that the government must use public fund to ADEQUATELY provide social welfare in the community. According to fourth schedule of the 1999 constitution amended. It is the primary duty of the Local Government to cater for issues like ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES and other related matters, not the private monsters.

But what we have is the opposite of the Ayoola and Ajidagba led APC regime, whose administrations has only successfully build an empire for themselves especially AJIFAT, who for the past 6 years has looted public fund with unaccounted contracts, using public resources to execute theirs. The same goes with this regime of Ayoola, flagging itself as bridge to development.

This increment is to double the pocket of the PSP Operators, driven with profit agenda. This is not the first but the second increment the government has embarked upon to exploit the masses. The services of the PSP Operators has not in any way improve, whereas, continue to get worst by the day.

This increments is unjustifiable. It is only meant to drill the masses. In fact, it is using kangaroo laws as currently constituted in Ajeromi  Ifelodun and its LCDA to victimise the poor and criminalize them for violating the pro-rich capitalist laws. This has being the hapless sarcophagus for a lot of working people.

More so, the PSP operators has adopted the tactics of using the authority to victimise people with draconian threats. For this to stop, we must get organized and reject this increment. It is crazy and exploitative. The excuse of government saying no money, confirms that public money, for them is meant for jamboree.

With the huge allocations coming to the local government like in Ajeromi Ifelodun, then cut to its LCDA. Nothing fundamental is put in place to improve the lot of the poor. Instead, it is the APC (PDP) tigers, using contract upon contracts to actualize their capitalistic agenda. These politicians has successfully carved for themselves empire with public money.

However, for the years the PSP Operators who continue to rake monthly, millions of Naira with the support of the pro-rich capitalists politicians of the APC and PDP. They have seen this environmental crisis as big business to make profit, that the Public Private Partnership has become a shield, endorse by the government to protect the PSPs.

To make matter worst, the workers in PSP are all casual. They are underpaid. They don't have rights to unionise. Their living condition is terrible. Despite the huge profit rake from this unjustifiable levy of N100 to N150, now to be increase to N200 per room. Nothing fundamental has metamorphose on the side of the PSP in term of the services render.

All still remain the same. We must begin to get organized with rallies, demonstrations in  a peaceful manner. This is the only way to reject this monstrous increment, under an economic where living condition is hard for a lot of working class families. Stand up and say No To PSP Increment!

Fight for a socialist plan society, where public resources will be use to improve the loot of the poor. Fight for the nationalization of public resources under workers and the poor democratic management and control. It is only through this that life can be guaranteed for us all, where the big boss system will end and inequality wind off.

POPULATION RISE IS NOT OUR PROBLEM BUT THE POLICIES

Source: Flat Rock By Davy Fidel Writer/Freelance I n Nigeria, at a time, the propaganda branding some news is that our population and our tongue is our problem. That Nigeria is made up of 250 ethnic groups and a population of 180 million is the reason why we are having ethnic clashes unravelling among people.
