The Campaigner is here to bring you a brief story of the author of "Street Tears."

Here it goes:

Davy Fidel is a writer, author, novelist, poet, and freelance. He is a Nigerian and he had his public education in the congested city of Lagos i.e. the part of West Africa. The city he describes is rustling and bustling.

The "STREET TEARS" is his first published work and it comes with a lot of strings. This is one among the several literary works he has that are yet unpublished he is preparing to launch soon.

Writing, the author speaks "is a difficult task. However, it is a great thing, he will states, to become a writer despite the odds." He believes setting up your dreams and working on them, will become a reality. And today, he is an author.

He has always believed that becoming a writer is something, which comes with a lot of energy and creative thinking through the alley of thoughts and clarity, especially wanting to communicate. The language, the idea, and how to connect with the reader's mind are important.

The author told us that "losing my father at the tender age of Seven i.e. August 8 1994; didn't stop me from getting it right. Though it wasn't easy. But I told myself that I must get there despite the up and down of everything around me", he explained to us.

One amazing thing about his journey and his life as a writer is that he never doubted his ability. He remains focused and consistent with everything he is doing. Though it is not an easy one, especially in this part of the world. Africa or any other part for you to be a writer, not to talk about being famous.

He always imagines his reality and ensures he is doing what his heart tells him to do no matter the odds. He told us that "reading is contributing to his literary life."

He added that "the psychology of reading and the philosophy of interpreting life are contributing to his wider space of logical reasoning and also to his creative writing."

His blog: https://lifeinslum.blogspot.com/?m=1 is one place he is using to report his freelancing i.e. outside his literary and creative writings. He uses this medium to express the issues, he thinks, deserve attention.

Nothing comes easy, the saying goes. However, Davy, in his way of going about the norm is that you must never give up despite the frustration. "Focusing on your dreams", he will advise can change a lot of things for you.

The world for him is a divided planet. And the vulnerable are bees in the mouth of mastication. A funny saying but it is the reality, The Campaigner affirmed.

In the course of telling us his story. We got to understand that his childhood experience was one hell that the poet (also a novelist) in his collection described.

In the poem: "Died Without A Word"; the author described how his father died. The situation of it and how his mother suffered torture at the hands of tradition and allegations.

The poet expresses the good and ugly situations of life in his book. How it almost affected his psychology as a teenager. But he told us "I never allow it to break me. Of course, it wasn't easy with my mother alone."

But he explained to us: "At my teenage age I have to start vying for survival. And while I do such. I never forgot my dream. I never forgot my books. Every day I make sure I spent time reading."

We, The Campaigner, believe this brief inside of the author of the book "Street Tears" will lead you into telling yourself. I can do it. This is what the author has repeatedly used to drive himself via books.

In the author's brief words he said. "When you put your heart, your mind, and your focus into what you do in life, especially fighting for your dream. Tell yourself you can do it. You can achieve it. You can make the exceptional. It is all about time, time, and time."

"Though nothing comes easy. But what is important is staying focused and using the best of your time to get the best of your results."
