GET ORGANIZED AND REJECT THE NEW INCREMENT!

Great people of Ajegunle! I greet you all with warm heart, and in the spirit of aspiring for a better community and Nigeria at large. I need to draw our attention to something important I think must be address with urgent mobilizations.  It is time that we should begin to organize ourselves and say enough is enough of this continue form of exploitation. The Private Sectors Participators known as PSP, plan to kick off an increment of collection of PSP levy, beginning from August/September, 2019. 

NOT UNTIL VICTORY IS ATTAIN, DOCK WORKERS MUST FIGHT ON

It is like a political victory for hundreds of dock workers present in the  National Industrial Court of Nigeria on Thursday 20/6/2019 for the "Trial". It is like an end to the three years deadlock Court appearances and the long suffering toil under the whip of ENL Consortium. While today is the Trial Day for the Industrial court, to kick off the hearing between representative capacity of 584 (out of the 688 retrenched) registered dock workers filed with NICN, and ENL Consortium. Many of the workers were already in the court premises around 7:45am to display their banners and chant solidarity songs.

COMMUNITIES MUST PROTEST FOR THE REHABILITATION OF BAD ROADS

The Campaign - the subsidiary of LIFEINSLUM - reports the sorry state of bad roads in Ajeromi Ifelodun. Huge traffic was at Bale Road today, 2 July, 2019. The traffic, which lasted for more than an hour and thirty minutes, was caused by an ongoing celebration of Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government, marking the Chairman 56th Birth day party.

For the past twelve weeks, since the Crossed Bar at Okoya bridge, to stop long vehicles especially "trailers" and "containers" to ply the road had been removed. The story hasn't been the same for a lot of people. 

COURT SIT OVER DOCK WORKERS MATTER AHEAD OF TRIAL

At exactly 11:05am Wednesday 3, 2019 the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, NICN, Lagos, court 6, sat over the matter of Nigerian dock workers. This is three years 688 dock workers from five contracting firms put together, have been laid off without their ten years entitlement and remuneration, owed by Energy Neftegas Limited, ENL, refusing to pay the workers.

YOUNG PEOPLE ON "WHY IS CHANGE DIFFICULT IN OUR SOCIETY?"

Young people between the age bracket of 15 to 17 in Literary and Freethinkers Forum (LFF), gathered to discuss on the topic: "Why is Change Difficult in our Society?". The Forum (LFF) was initiated by group of writers who are tutors in Solution Tutorial. The purpose is to engage young people, for them to be able to explore their creativity, and think outside the box of convention.
