POETOURISM ORGANIZES CREATIVE MINDS ON A TRIP TO PAN ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY, LEKKI-LAGOS

It is a day that will remain in our memories forever, especially stepping out of our comfort zone of writing, to celebrate each other as writers, poets, and authors.  This is not an easy thing for any creative mind to do. However, the year 2022 Poetourism was an educative one, and also, inspiring. It is an event for thirty people and each person marvelled with the experience, especially in the PAU Museum.  The Campaigner --- a subsidiary of LIFEINSLUM was there to cover the event voluntarily.

I was in a barber's shop and a discussion ensued. It is on the question of Nigeria and whether there is any hope, now and in the future. It is a question a lot of people are asking themselves every day the clock is ticking while the country is roasting.

It might also have it's up and down that when you are there you won't stop wondering. Ojuelegba is not a new tone and place for many people living in Lagos. It is not a place people don't go to daily.

And for people outside the shore of Nigeria, who only hears about the area or by chance come across the name, but have no concern to ask about the community. They will want to know what does the name Iyana Ipaja means? Does it has a root or it is just a myth?

That Nigeria is made up of 250 ethnic groups and a population of 180 million is the reason why we are having ethnic clashes unravelling among people.

Added to it, the tension and anger of the masses piling up against the regime.
