CLASH AT THE APC RALLY IN AJEGUNLE

Yesterday Friday 19/1/2019 at exactly 1:35pm at Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA). The All Progressives' Congress (APC) held a rally to declare the candidacy of its candidates to contest in the various offices.

At the cause of the rally that kick off from the Ajeromi Ifelodun Secretariat, a clash between the APC supporters and groups of angered boys broke out. Bottles and stones were thrown at each other.

The police on their part who also serve as escort both in the middle and behind the rally didn't nothing to stop it. The clash only lasted for few minutes. In spite of this, residents in the community feared when this was on.

There was no casualty recorded, however, the anger demonstrated confirms the All Progressive Congress has failed on their part in implementing programmes to improve living condition in the community.

Despite the APC regime from the State down to the Local as we have seen in Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government claims to be progressive. The policies of the APC since 1999 has render life miserable, in addition increase poverty and hardship for the poor.

The reaction yesterday clearly testify it. Some of the youth who were in the rally were fully armed. Immediately the fight broke out, they quickly brought out their cutlasses to scare the boys who troop out to interject otherwise it would have been bloody.

Seeing what the gang troop of the APC has. They too called for weapon to stage a horrible battle that probably might last longer than what happened. However, the whole thing quickly dissolve in less than twenty minutes.

As the 2019 elections get nearer in Nigeria especially in Ajeromi Ifelodun LGA where the APC is standing candidates in House of Representatives, State House of Assembly etc the do or die winning is inevitable. More of this will probably take cause.

More of the angry youth who psychologically are suffering break down mentally because of the failure of the government under the long ruling of APC in the State since 1999 when they are Alliance for Democracy.

It is expected that the APC will do everything to return all its candidates back to office old and new. They  will ensure all their candidates never  lose in any office both State House and House of Representative respectively.

Hon. Kolawale Taiwo who lost the 2015 election will do everything stupid and senseless to win the House of Representative election. Going by the rumour on town that the APC has already prepared to play dirty.

This is also not to excuse other parties whose programme in the past has inflicted economic hardship on the people. Whose policy has not improve nothing but contributed to what currently is going on.

As things gets thicker, it is not out of doubt that the rumour now tilling in every corner won't fail to harvest itself in the upcoming election. For a lot of people who witness what happened, are beginning to say it is "do or die for APC" said by a food vendor.
