DESPITE THE ANGER, THE SENSITIZATION WENT ON

As continuation of yesterday (28/7/2018) Socialist Party of Nigeria Statewide Tabling and Circulation of SPN leaflet.

The Ajegunle SPN held theirs today Sunday (29/7/2018) at the heart of Ajegunle where commercial activities usually kick off, where people go out to in order to feed their families. It was very rich and inspiring, engaging people with the leaflets despite the response.
Meanwhile, there is a growing tension and apathy among many Nigerians. The displeasure against the Buhari regime was very high. People especially market women who were out to hustle today, were dissatisfied concerning the  government policies since the last election.

Majority of the women expresses anger that the Buhari regime vexes them. That since the regime assumed people, a lot of things has gone bad for them. That the cost of living has gone up. People hardly buy things in the market because no money.

One of the Frozen Chicken Seller inside the main boundary market that was given the SPN leaflet and who rejected it, expresses bitterness saying she doesn't want to collect it because Nigeria vexed her. Things are tough now.

Meanwhile, the anger prompt other of the women to begin to raised questions about the regime. That the Buhari regime doesn't deserve to remain in power any longer. That the economic hardship is unbearable. Some think the leaflet is to support the APC.

But when members of SPN says it is not they begin to collect it. Although, those who collected were equally engaged that the SPN is different and it is party for people like them to join. Others who also collected it resound the echo that they want this regime to be voted out from office come 2019.

And the response given to some of the people who collected the leaflets: Okada riders, workers, traders etc were neither the PDP, APC are not different. Both ride the masses inside the private pocket.  It is only when we the poor masses have an independent political party will life be better for everyone.

The Taxi Drivers Association inside the motor park at Boundary that the comrades gave the SPN leaflets mentioned the issue of "Real Change" immediately after one of them reads the heading, and they were engaged and also encourage to join the SPN.

The experience of today confirms that there is high psychological tension and anger blinking for an explosion in the coming period especially among the youths that some of them snob collecting the leaflet. In spite of this, more than 700 copies of the SPN leaflets were circulated.

In the light of this, the Socialist Party of Nigeria believe that the masses organizing an independent political alternative will help to chase out the ruling parties in government out from power. This will amount the angered youths and the poor class to identify with a party like the SPN that is pushing for an independent formidable alternative in order for us all to build for a better future.
