1 9 5 9

1 9 5 9

I
Behind voice of guns
Broken barricade of 1 9 5 9
Paved road for revolution

Island locked in stock
Against stomach seal with hunger
Aristocracy eats on imperialist table
Plantation of existence

While life tear self bloodily
Under with pain toil to death
Earls before ‘5 9
And wardens of continent

Barricade with philosophy
Resources street leap for
Like crawling ape for
Stolen scrambles locked

Holders before ‘5 9
Gangs of ward remnant
Barricaded with stock guns
But ‘5 9 tremble for fighters

Heaven ice hearing voices
Revolution in hose of guns
Guns in farmers’ fingers
Breaking wall of 1 9 5 9

Through arrow’s voice at front
Fired at aristocracy before ‘5 9
Landlords, gangs, government
And philosophy feeding fattest

Earl’s fat getting fatter
Than Island encamp for wardens
Shipping better life banking
While street rolled back suffering
Drink saliva to kill thirst
Life nail to cloud of death

II
Lesson must awaken consciousness
Over roof of 1 9 5 9
Now held as concept
Schools schooling inside shadow
Of rolling beside heroism

 History walks faster
Like Einstein pivot of reason
That fighters’ need energy
Hands hammered with industrialization

And penury down to grave
To drop veil from face of market
Hiding stinking sore at body
Atmosphere want end of this

And shout with united voice
In today’s artery witness
The hose of ‘5 9 offers to
Voice of guns behind hero

Celebrated at museum Cuba
Philosophers schooling self
Fold reason off outside bulletin
Of mass hammer of industrialization
Like snow city of ‘1 7

Recited like farmer’s boy poet
Poetry written with blood of humans
Humans of shoes earth fights with
Solidarity to fall market gate
Encamped like in Franco’s camp

1 9 5 9 of great revolution
Students of star-like-barrette
World denies not preface
Yet, index is hammers’ power

Road of hammers’ poem
Voice to unveil face of stock
Not like how hero of ‘5 9
In Island peasant guns and bureaucrat

Followed footprint of Stalin
Revolutions in hands of Commandants
Was opportunity of contradiction?
Stalin said is leather jacket of Marxism

For revolution like 1 9 5 9
And bigger thick cloud must follow
As legacy the world must understand
The library of Leon Trotsky teaches

That life can break chain through
Hammers’ of workers power

POPULATION RISE IS NOT OUR PROBLEM BUT THE POLICIES

Source: Flat Rock By Davy Fidel Writer/Freelance I n Nigeria, at a time, the propaganda branding some news is that our population and our tongue is our problem. That Nigeria is made up of 250 ethnic groups and a population of 180 million is the reason why we are having ethnic clashes unravelling among people.
